Arrive
Lahore
We
are welcomed with the traditional greeting. As Salaam Aleykoum (Peace
be on you) as we arrive at the cultural hub of Pakistan. |
| Day 2 |
Lahore
Full
day tour of Lahore including the sensational Shalimar Gardens. Evening
we visit a Sufi shrine. |
| Day 3 |
Lahore/Multan
As
short flight gets us to Multan. Afternoon tour of Multan – one of
the oldest living cities and the first Sufi Centre in the Sub Continent.
Evening – a tour in soul searching as we visit Sufi shrines. |
| Day 4 |
Multan/Sukkur
This
morning we take a spectacular drive to Sukkur-the ancient capital
of the area. En route we visit the Sufi centre of Uch Shariff which
houses the exquisite Sufi shrines at Jalaludin Bukharai and Bibi
Jawindi. |
| Day 5 |
Sukkur
Tour
of the Sindhi town of Sukkur and the Mahana Boat people. |
| Day 6 |
Sukkur/Moenjodaro/Larkana
We
visit Moenjodaro, the premier site of the Indus Valley civilization
before continuing on to Larkana. |
| Day 7 |
Larkana/Hyderabad
Depart
for Sehwan Shariff - one of the most important Sufi towns in Pakistan.
En route we visit the rural handicraft centre of Hala – a typical
Sindhi town before reaching Hyderabad. |
| Day 8 |
Thatta/Karachi
Before
we reach Karachi we stop at Thatta, an ancient town with an interesting
history dating back to the time to Alexander the Great, who used
the port to rest his weary troops. |
| Day 9 |
Karachi
This
morning we take a tour of Karachi. Afternoon is for leisure activities-especially
at the local bazaars. |
| Day 10 |
Depart Karachi
After
an interesting journey into the Sufi Trail we bid farewell with
Khuda Hafiz, God be with you, as we set for Karachi airport for
our flight. |
